Press release
Richard Bergeron named to the city's executive committee
Tuesday November 17, 2009

The mayor of Montreal, Mr. Gérald Tremblay, named this morning Richard Bergeron, leader of Projet Montréal, as head of urban planning and development within the executive committee of the City. This strategic position will allow him to play a crucial role in the evolution of such projects as the Turcot Interchange Freeway, the Bonaventure Highway, Griffintown and the Quartier des spectacles.
Mr. Bergeron said he was very pleased with the decision of the mayor. "I see this as a historic move showing an outreaching hand from Mr. Tremblay to work together towards a common goal: to improve the quality of life of Montrealers."
